Feedback of participants on our External workshop titled "Direct Selling Skills" held on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Hotel Sarova Stanley, Nairobi, Kenya

We had participants from Elite Tools, Elite Offset and Sky Technologies. We are giving below their verbatim feedback on the above program.

  • I am very grateful to have attended this workshop today. It has been a great and inspiring day for me. There has been a lot I believe. I 'can do' and 'will do' to the best of my ability. Personally, it has been only three weeks since I joined and thus I am truly grateful to you for this day. Hoping to see you soon and to attend another workshop. Thank you.   • The training was perfect, just what I needed as a salesman. You approach is quite deep and detailed. Please try and compact it a little as a whole day of such information is too much.   • Selling skills - learnt a lot but also some points I knew, though most points will be helpful once the notes are given. Some financial aspects of cost benefit analysis really helped and different types of people Aspirer and Admirer etc., Too much  material covered in a short span of time and may be can be covered over 2 days. Regarding the in house training would you be able to give me some indication of the various training programs you have in place so that we may decide which one is needed for our team.

Our feedback to participants and their sponsors

  • It was one of the most enjoyable work day experience in recent times for me and every young attendee was highly participative with very good potential to grow. All had positive attitudes, willing to learn and had an open mind. In our business, we rarely come across such a good group of people and with such homogeneity. My complements to both the sponsors and participants
  • Our objective is to give maximum value for money to the sponsors and their participants. Our workshops are highly interactive and this reduces the time required to cover all the material in the slides. We do not believe in long winding lectures and boring monologues. Since we are giving the workshop material to sponsors, all participants must go through the material to benefit in the long run. Most importantly, what is said during the interaction and not recorded is more important. We recommend that people go through our own comments on our workshops to understand us better. 
  • In external programs of such nature, we will have participants with different levels of experience. As a result, some points will always be known to people with experience. However, they must also understand that some less experienced participants may not know the points. We have to satisfy the needs of all participants. 
  • Extending the program to 2 days will make it very expensive and not all organizations can afford it.
  • Finally, as some people were fasting because of Ramadan and Navaratri, my appreciation to them as it is not easy to concentrate on an empty stomach. It shows great belief, discipline and determination. This is one quality that is absolutely a must for people in Sales. Keep it up.   

I take this opportunity to personally thank all the sponsors and participants for the opportunity given to me for this interaction and will be sending the invoices, CD and COPs in a week's time.
